Firewall Builder

Firewall Builder is an open-source, GUI-based firewall management software. The built-in firewall policy compiler converts object-oriented firewall policy definitions into native firewall rules for a given firewall platform. The policy compiler is compatible with various software/hardware firewall platforms such as Linux netfilter, BSD pf, Cisco ASA/PIX/IOS and HP ProCurve access control lists. The built-in inspection logic can perform rule validations to identify unsupported/invalid rules or redundant/overshadowed rules. Firewall Builder can securely deploy generated rules on a target platform via SSH/SCP, perform live updates, and verson-control firewall configurations via RCS. It comes with pre-built firewall templates which are applicable for common deployment environment. The entire Firewall Builder functionality is accessible from the command line as well.
